From Corporate Boardrooms to Building My Own Business

After 25 years in the corporate world, I decided it was time to build something of my own.

I brought plenty of experience and determination into entrepreneurship. What I discovered was that knowing how to work hard and knowing how to grow a profitable business are two different things.

That experience shaped the work I do today. I want women to spend less time second-guessing themselves and more time building businesses that reward their effort.

I've experienced the frustration of trying to figure out which advice to follow, where to spend my time, and how to turn all that effort into meaningful results.

And I've seen far too many talented women questioning themselves when their businesses aren't growing the way they hoped.

That's why I do this work.

I believe women in midlife have earned the right to build businesses that reflect their experience, their ambitions, and the lives they want to enjoy. They deserve practical guidance that helps them make money without feeling like they have to work every waking hour.

A Little More About Me

I'm a TEDx speaker, #1 bestselling and award-winning author, certified Tiny Habits coach, and award-winning podcaster. My work has been featured on ABC, NBC, and FOX, and I'm a member of the Connecticut Governor's Council on Women and Girls.

But there's a lot more to me than business.

I'm a New Yorker at heart who now calls Connecticut home. I love meaningful conversations, a good cup of coffee, and connecting with women who aren't afraid to dream a little bigger, even as they figure things out along the way.

I host Casa De Confidence with my #HotHandsomeHusband, Dan, who's also my partner in life and business. I also host Brave Moves, where I share practical ideas and encouragement for taking action, even when life feels a little messy.

And when I'm not coaching, speaking, or podcasting, I'm probably spending time with Dan and our three dogs, Yogi Bear, Simba, and Junior. I am also a caregiver for my elderly mom who moved in with us.

I believe in working hard for what matters, making time for the people we love, and enjoying the life we're building along the way.
